Revealed ~ The Richard Neat pop-up


Today ChefHermes.com can reveal details of one of the most anticipated pop-up events in recent times. A couple of years ago the idea of former 2Michelin starred chef Richard Neat doing a brief London pop-up restaurant got so many chefs & suppliers asking me when & where.

The Good News.

Courtsey of  The Gallivant, Richard Neat will be doing a one night only appearence in Sussex. The evening is a four course meal with matching wines for £75, further details are, as taken from the hotel’s website:

The evenings start with some delicious amuse bouche canapés and a house aperitif.

In line with our ethos, practically everything will be sourced from around us, so expect to see local fish and meat from the Romney salt marshes, all matched with a perfect flight of wines.

At the end of the night there will be the customary ‘Sante de Chef’ and hopefully a few words from the chefs themselves.

This is probably the first time that Richard Neat has cooked for the public since his departure from his brief return to London with ‘Neat’ at the OXO tower, in 2001/2.

The Bad News.

Sadly, there are no more tickets available for this evening with a culinary legend, although The Gallivant do run other featured chef nights, including:

  • Mitch Tonks
